Pima Diabetes Analysis

The data used were originally collected in the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), with 768 observations and 9 input features and outputs having a value of Yes/No. In this study, patients are descendants of Pima Indians in South Central Arizona. The reason why they chose Pima Indians is because half of the adult Pima Indians were suffering from diabetes. The analysis will focus only on adult women. Whether or not diabetes is diagnosed according to the standards of the World Health Organization, and the type diagnosed is Type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes dramatically increases co-morbidities such as high blood pressure, abnormal lipid blood pressure, stroke, eye disease, and kidney disease. From the data collected from the NIDDK, data from individuals with diabetes or risk factors in this population is examined and diabetes is predicted.
